Description: |
Woody shrub, up to c. 2 m tall. Bark dark, roughish, flaking. Leaves alternate, sessile, obovate, c. 4 × 2 cm, grey-green, hairless, leathery to slightly fleshy, 3-veined from the base; margin entire. Flowers in lax, few-flowered terminal heads, white to pinkish; ray-florets absent. Involucral bracts white, persistent. Fruit with long silky pappus. |
