Description: |
Robust perennial herb, up to 1 m. Stems winged and angular, especially above. Leaves along the stem but concentrated and subopposite near the ends of stems and branches, narrowly oblanceolate-oblong, scaberulous; margin sparsely dentate or subentire. Capitula solitary in the axils of the upper leaves and clustered at the ends of branches, 1-1.5 cm in diameter, bright yellow. Ray-florets female, 3-dentate at the apex. |
