Description: |
Perennial herb with trailing stems and swollen roots. The whole plant is covered with hairs. Leaves sessile, elliptic to ovate. Inflorescences densely clustered, subsessile. Flowers white with a yellow centre, borne amongst large leaf-like bracts with spiny margins. |
Notes: | This species differs from Crabbea velutina by the less erect habit, the subsessile inflorescences and the 1-1.5 m wide dorsal calyx lobe, a similar width as the other lobes. |
