Wedelia trilobata (L.) Hitchc.
Common names: Singapore daisy (English)
Description: Perennial herb to 30 cm, but usually much shorter. Stems prostrate, creeping and rooting at the nodes. Leaves dark green, shiny, entire, serrate to lobed. Capitula 3 cm in diameter, yellow to orange-yellow, solitary on long peduncles. Achenes brown.
Notes: Commonly cultivated in gardens, usually as a ground cover. See (e.g.) Sheat & Schofield (1995), p.285 and Pienaar (1984), p. 347, for images of this species, both under the name of Wedelia trilobata.

In Zimbabwe, it escapes from time to time, most convincingly in high rainfall areas in the Eastern Highlands but also in urban areas like Harare.
