Description: |
A small but distinct species. Leaves up to 12 (?; assuming image 1 & 2 are showing a single plant), appressed to the ground, narrowly elliptic, up to 7 cm long, olive-green and distinctly spotted above purple beneath; veining conspicuous. Inflorescences 1-several (?; again assuming it concerns a single plant), flaccid, lax. Flowers green with violet stamens. |

Habitat: | Growing in bare granite sandy soil at the base of large boulders. Maleme Dam Rest Camp in Matobo National Park at c. 1310m. Flowering at Christmas time during the rainy seaon. |
