Description:
See subsp. daemia for general description. This subspecies differs in the corolla tube being narrowly cylindric and more or less as long as the corolla lobes.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: daemia: from the Arabic vernacular name.
Habitat: In dry bushland and along seasonal watercourses.
