Description:

Annual herb. It differs from the somewhat similar Bidens pilosa in the more finely divided leaves with narrowly lanceolate leaflets, and the yellow ray-florets. |
Notes:

Not mentioned for the Flora Zambesiaca area at all in Wild's account of the genus in Kirkia 6(1), pp. 13-34, which was published in 1967. However, there are (Mesfin Tadesse, pers. comm., 2013) specimens in Kew and SRGH from Gwelo District in 1966 and Bulawayo, 1974. The species has spread rapidly in disturbed places since that time. |
