Description:	A red-flowered form of G. dalenii subsp. dalenii. See below for the differences compared with the normal form.
Notes:	The red form deserves special mention for a number of reasons: it generally occurs only in a woodland habitat and seems to be absent from the higher parts, where other colour forms are common; it flowers in May, after the end of the rains, while other plants normally flower from December to February; the flower colour seems to be consistently bright red, while plants flowering earlier, are varied in colour but rarely red.
