Description: |
Climbing herb with subsucculent leaves and stems. Stems glabrous. Leaves 4-6 × 3-6 cm, ovate-triangular to subcircular in outline, shallowly or deeply lobed, the sinuses minutely dentate; base cordate to cuneate. Petiole 1-3 cm. Capitula solitary on side-branches; yellow or orange-yellow. Calyculus leaf-like, broadly elliptic, each bract c.7 × 4 mm. Capitula 14-18 mm. Phyllaries 10-16, 10 mm. Rays 0. |
Notes: | Confined to montane forest on Hwedza Mountain, from where it has been collected twice; once by Wild in 1964 and again by S. Mavi in 1968. |
