Description: |
Small glandular annual herb, up to 25 cm. Stems prostrate to ascending, up to 60 cm long, covered in long hairs; wings absent or occurring for only a short distance below the leaves. Leaves variable, up to 6.5 cm long, cordate and clasping the stem at the base, densely hairy, particularly on the veins; margin entire or toothed, sometimes lobed. Inflorescences terminal or axillary, globose up to c. 10 mm in diameter on glandular hairy peduncles up to 6 cm long. Florets purple. |
