Description: |
Shrub or small to medium-sized tree. Leaves opposite, lanceolate to elliptic, glossy dark green, veining conspicuous on the under surface. Domatia present. Flowers solitary, axillary, trumpet-shaped, creamy-white with reddish markings in the throat. Fruits spherical, blackish when ripe, distinctly scarred by the old calyx limb. |
