Description: |
Slender evergreen tree, native in Brazil. It is grown for its edible fruits or as a garden ornamental. |
Notes: | The seeds are spread by birds and it is known as an occasional escape along forest margins in the Eastern Highlands. It is not a problem invader but may become so in the future, if not controlled. |
