Description: |
More or less prostrate perennial, sometimes forming patches. All parts with stellate and sometimes with glandular hairs. Leaves dark green, tinged with purple-bronze, ovate to ovate-oblong, glabrous or sparsely hairy; base rounded to subcordate; margins irregularly crenate. Flowers drooping, mostly 2, from an erect axillary peduncle, very variable in colour, yellow, pink or reddish or creamy white. Fruit an ellipsoid capsule, thinly pubescent. |
