Description: |
Small herb less than 15 cm tall. Leaves linear-elliptic, 10-45 mm long, hairless. Flowers in lateral racemes, greenish-white. Capsule elliptic-oblong, up to 5 × 4 mm, slightly winged. |

Derivation of specific name: | westii: named after Oliver West, who collected the type specimen. |
