Description: |
|
Notes: | This species is listed as recorded from the Eastern Division in A Checklist of Zimbabwean Vascular Plants (Mapaura & Timberlake, 2004: 59). However, it is not included for Zimbabwe in Flora Zambesiaca Vol. 9 part 3 (Polhill & Wiens, 2006: 154) nor in Mistletoes of Africa (Polhill & Wiens, 1998: 169). The preferred habitat of this species outside Zimbabwe is coastal bushland, mangrove swamps and low altitude mixed woodland. We have as yet not located any specimens on which the inclusion for Zimbabwe has been based and until we do its occurrence in Zimbabwe is very doubtful to say the least. |
