Description:
Terrestrial herb, 60-70 cm high. Pseudobulbs mostly above ground. Leaves 2-4, distinctly petiolate, 30-80 cm long, lanceolate to oblanceolate, plicate. Inflorescence fairly densely many-flowered; bracts 10-25 mm long, linear. Flowers yellow to pale green with purple markings on the side lobes of the lip and an orange callus. Lip 3-lobed but appearing 4-lobed when flattened, 7 mm long and 18 mm wide. Spur 3-4 mm long, globose.
Notes: This species appears to share characteristics with both Eulophia and Oeceoclades. Based on the presence of plicate leaves, it has now been placed in Eulophia. Oeceoclades has conduplicate leaves (La Croix & Cribb in FZ vol. 11-2: 463, 1998).
