Description:
Terrestrial herb, up to 40 cm tall, with ovoid pseudobulbs mostly underground. Leaves 2-3, basal, lanceolate to ovate, ribbed. Inflorescence densely many-flowered. Flowers small, 6 mm across, green to yellow-green with a deep purple-brown lip.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: nervosa: nerved
Habitat: A species of Brachystegia woodland, grassland and riverine fringes. It is occasionally found in exotic plantations.
