Description:
Leafy shoots arising from extensive rhizomes. Inflorescences 2-3-flowered, also arising from the rhizome. Corolla white. Labellum white with yellow basal patch.
Notes: See Aframomum angustifolium for comparison and also Hedychium gardnerianum, an alien in forest habitat.
