Description: |
Perennial herb, 30-50 cm tall. Leaves 5-6, the lower 2-3 basal, the upper leaves cauline. Spike 3-6(-9)-flowered, the flowers borne on one side. Floral bracts 12-25 mm long, green to membranous, the outer bracts with margins united for 1-2 mm. Flowers whitish to ivory or light brown, usually darker on the back of the outer tepals; perianth tube 18-25 mm, down-curved, much exceeding the bracts. Anthers yellow to brown, pendent. |
