Description: |
Robust perennial herb, up to 50. Leaves 7-11, sheathing at the base, lanceolate, large, up to 60 cm in older plants, more or less flat, erect, hairless on the lamina; margin and midrib densely set with ciliate, stellate hairs. Inflorescences several, appearing with the young leaves, 4-10-flowered, densely hairy on the scape and bracts. Flowers yellow, 2-2.5 cm in diameter. Capsule cylindric, 6-9 mm. |
