Description:
A slender, hairless climber, up to 3 m. Leaves alternate, ovate with acuminate drip-tips; closely spaced parallel veining. Flowers in small axillary clusters, cream or greenish. Fruit a berry, green to pale yellow, up to 15 mm in diameter.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: reticulata: reticulate, netted, referring to the conspicuous net-veining.
Habitat: In the understorey of evergreen forest.
Altitude range: (metres) 1000 - 2100 m

Worldwide distribution: Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Eswatini and Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal and Western and Eastern Cape, South Africa.
