In the paper, Grace et al. (2013), the genus Chortolirion is transferred to the genus Aloe. It appears that the only species of Chortolirion, namely Chortolirion angolense, reported as occurring in the Flora Zambesiaca area, has been split into 2 species, namely Aloe barendii and A. welwitschii. Both species are reflected as occurring in Zimbabwe in the online African Plants Database. |
