Description: |
Slender perennial herb, growing from a small ovoid corm. Leaves spiralled along the stem, linear, often tubular near the base. Flowers small, axillary, appearing up-side-down. perianth segments filiform, spreading pale greenish-brown. Ovary longer than stamens. Style with 3 brown, papillate stigmatic branches. Fruit a ribbed oblong capsule. |
