Description: |
Slender perennial sedge, mostly up to 30 cm high, growing from a horizontal rhizome. Leaves basal, grass-like, about half the length of the stem. Inflorescence a terminal cluster of flattened spikelets, bright yellow to orange in this variety. Var. obtusiflorus has white spikelets. |
