Coarse annual; culms up to 100 cm high, erect. Leaf laminas 2–15 cm × 4–12 mm, coarsely hispid, subamplexicaul. Racemes 5–15 mm long. Sessile spikelet c. 1 mm long and wide; superior glume narrowly crested at the apex. Pedicelled spikelet 1.5–2.5 mm long. |
