Description: |
Tufted, usually erect, perennial. Culms up to 2.5 m tall. Racemes usually 10-18, each raceme 4-13 cm long. Spikelets 2-2.8 mm long, ovate, yellowish-green, paired in 2-4 rows along the rhachis. Upper glume sparsely pilose on the upper surface, ciliate on the margin. |
