Description:	A variable perennial herb, scrambling, suberect or procumbent, often mat-forming. Stems much-branched, sometimes rooting at the nodes.Leaves elliptic-ovate to ovate, variously hairy. Flowers terminal, mostly in groups of three, white, pale blue or pinkish.
Type location:	South Africa.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name:	rupicola: rock loving; rock dwelling.
Habitat:	In grassland, along edges of woodland and in wet rocky places.
