Notes: Shrub; Notes: Shrub, up to 1.5 m high. Very common. No flowers. Fruit greenish with some red speckling when young. Young branchlets hairy. Bark pale grey smooth. Area of mixed mopane and Terminalia - Combretum woodland. Soils range from clay loams to dystrophic leached sands
