Habitat: Occurs on flat plain. Growing in well-drained sandy soil in full sun conditions.
Location: Caprivi, Mukwe District: Bwabwata National Park, Chetto village, north of T.C.H. closer to the power line.

Notes: Perennial, tall shrub/tree, 4 cm high. Stem smooth, light grey, young growth brown to dark with lenticels (white dots). Leaves simple, margin smooth, ovate, dull green below and pale green above. Flowers yellowish, cone-shaped with elongated fingerlike petals. Sepals short, reduced, green. Roots dark brown to red, papery.
