Habitat: Widely spread in woodland savanna on flat plain. Growing in well-drained sand, in full sun conditions, area recently burnt.
Location: Caprivi, Mukwe District: Bwabwata National Park - East, Chetto village, north of Trans Caprivi Highway.

Notes: Perennial shrub, 55 cm high. Young branchlets green, old stems light grey, covered in short hair. Leaves simple, opposite, shiny green, margin undulating, obovate, rounded apex. Roots smooth, light grey.
