Habitat: Amongst sandstone boulders on margin of main river channel, on edge of riverine forest dominated by Uapaca lissopyrena.
Location: Chimanimani foothills, Maronga, Madzireni Forest, Murere River, where path that eventually leads to Mahate meets the river, here the river splitting into three channels, one with rapids, one with shallow slow-flowing water, the third currently dry.
