Habitat: Amongst sandstone boulders on edge of dry river channel, light riverine forest with Uapaca lissopyrena dominating.
Location: Chimanimani foothills, Maronga, Madzireni Forest, Murere River, where path that eventually leads to Mahate meets the river, here the river splitting into three channels, one with rapids, one with shallow slow-flowing water, the third currently dry.
