Notes: Soil: clay, Substrate: soil. Moisture regime: seasonally water-logged. Vegetation: desert. Biotic effect: garden. Exposure: dappled shade. Occurrence: common.
A plant forming a mat along the margins of the lake growing together with Phragmites. Most of the individuals are found out of the water, but some aquatic forms exist submerged in water. Flower parts are predominantly pink, but some have petals that are white or purple.
