Notes: Acaulescent with a number of branching stems all arising at ground level from a woody root. Stems and leaves pubescent. Inflorescences on short lateral racemes, flowers on short pubescent pedicels to 5 mm long. Wing sepals are yellow/ green with red veining becoming reddish-brown as they mature. Flower bright blue, petals with a long claw, rounded tips and slightly frilled edges, keel with a self coloured [?] 'crest' of much-divided segments.
