Notes: Stems green, harshly pubescent. Leaves bright green and slightly pubescent on the upper surface, undersurface felted with short white hairs, prominent venation. Flowers small, solitary or in axillary clusters on pubescent peduncles with small pointed bracts at branching points and below each flower. Calyx of five hairy sepals joined at base narrow and pointed. Flowers purple.
