Anton Gårdman is a Msc student in Ecolocy and Conservation at Uppsala University, Sweden. He has a great interest in biodiversity and conservation of threatened species and environments. At the moment (september 2019) he is writing his thesis about plant diversity and habitat fragmentation of Mozambican forests. For this project, Anton and
Paulo Antonio Tomussene conducted fieldwork at the
Nhamacoa Forest in Sussundenga District in 2018. They collected and pressed pressed plant specimens for herbarium collections and collected data on edge effects.
