Trees. Leaves crowded near the ends of the branches in close spirals, with numerous opposite leaflets. Inflorescences axillary, consisting of paniculate cymes, borne near the ends of the branches. Calyx-lobes 4, free almost to the base; Petals 4. Fruit dry, 4-angled, 4-locular.
Worldwide: 5 species in tropical and South Africa. Zimbabwe: 1 taxon. |
