Description: Stems to 4 m tall. Leaves: petiole sheath produced into a long (3-7 cm) cusp; mid-vein of lamina 16-23 cm long; base cordate; sinus between the basal lobes ± closed by the overlapping lobes. Spadix greenish outside and white within and pink towards the base.
Notes: Recorded for Harare on a list of Zimbabwean cultivated specimens in Pretoria (PRE), collected by Walters JA.
