Description: | Erect shrub 30 - 60 cm tall. Leaves: petiole short; lamina 5-12.5 cm long, lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, acute. Flowers extra-axillary in a long terminal leafy raceme; calyx-tube broad and hairy, yellowish with scarlet at the base, constricted towards the apex and oblique. Petals 6, minute, shorter than the 12 broad calyx-teeth. Stamens exserted. |
