Description: Small shrub to c. 1 m. Leaves dark green, glossy. Inflorescence to 10 cm long. Bracts cordate, yellow. Corolla to 5 cm, white.
Notes: This beautiful species is commonly cultivated in Zimbabwean gardens.
Derivation of specific name: lutea: yellow, referring to the bracts
