Description: Tree. Leaves: petiole 3-8 cm long. Leaflets 7-13 cm long, elliptic-oblong to oblanceolate. Petals c. 2.5 × 1.5 mm, white to cream. Fruit 4.5-6 cm in diameter; wings 3-5 cm long.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: riedelianum: either from Ludwig Riedel (1790-1861) or Johann Gerard Friedrich Riedel, (1832-1911).
Flowering time:
Worldwide distribution: Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.
