Common names:	Daisy tree (English)
Description:	Shrub to 3-4 m. Leaves: lamina to 1 m, pinnatifid to 2-pinnatifid; sometimes upper leaves not divided. Capitula to 7.5 cm across.
Notes:	This species is cultivated in gardens but there are no records of it ever becoming naturalised. It is similar to Montanoa hibiscifolia, which is both cultivated and naturalised. For a comparison of the two species, see Montanoa hibiscifolia.
Derivation of specific name:	bipinnatifida: with 2-pinnatifid leaves.

Worldwide distribution:	Native of Mexico; widely cultivated for ornament.
