Description: | Dense, dark green, evergreen, sprawling shrub to 3 m tall, bearing many curving and descending, glabrous, 4-angled branches. Leaves opposite, 3-foliolate, present at flowering time; leaflets oblong-lanceolate, sessile. Flowers 3-4.5 cm wide, solitary in the axils, bright yellow with darker eye, subtended by leaf-like bracts. Calyx lobes leafy, lanceolate, and longer than the tube. Corolla lobes obovate-spathulate, longer than the tube. |
