| Description: | Monoecious, deciduous, multi-stemmed tree to 9 m tall. Lateral leafy shoots long, up to 45 cm, crowded at the branch ends, appearing after the flowers, strongly resembling pinnate leaves, Leaves 3-6 cm long. Flowers in clusters on leafy lateral shoots, the fascicles all male or male with one female flower. Male flowers: stamens 5. Fruit 1.5-3 cm in diameter, inflated. |
