Description: | Perennial bulbous herb with annual, leafless scrambling or twining stems up to 3 m long. Bulbs often near or at the surface of the soil, green, up to 15 cm in diameter, somewhat depressed. Stems much-branched, leafless, green and fleshy, scrambling or twining up to 3 m long. Leaves very few, basal, filiform, soon falling. Flowers 16-24 mm in diameter, yellowish green, tepals often reflexed. Capsule c. 2.5 cm long, brownish. |
