Flowers calyx campanulate, sub-leathery, irregularly 5-lobed; corolla red or orange, campanulate-funnelform, slightly bilabiate; lobes spreading. Fruit capsules, loculicidally dehiscent. Seeds numerous, compressed. Membranous with semi-transparent wings.
