| Description: |
Leafless, pendulous, parasitic shrubs with round stems, 0.5-1 m. Internodes of distal branches long and rounded. Bracteal cups and flowers of both sexes sessile. Flowers unisexual on different plants. Male flowers in triads mostly 4-6 per node, but up to 10 on terminal nodes. Female flowers borne singly, 2-4 per node. Berries sessile, orange, ovoid, tuberculate when young to almost smooth when mature. |
