Description:
A handsome epiphyte or lithophyte with large single flowers per inflorescence.
Notes: It is not an easily cultivated species with short-lived flowers. It is rare and occurs in small subpopulations.

Habitat: In riverine forest.

Worldwide distribution: Chimanimani Mountains and a few other locations elsewhere in the Eastern Highlands (Vumba, Stapleford).
