| Description: |
Perennial with creeping rhizome and culms densely arranged in a row. Culms 12-40 cm × 0.8-1.7 mm, triangular, glabrous. Leaf lamina up to 5-20 × 2-4 mm. Inflorescence a solitary ovoid or hemispheric spike. Involucral bracts 3-4. Spikelets 2.5-3 mm, 1-2-flowered. Glumes 2-3.5 mm, very unequal, golden-yellow with green glabrous unwinged midrib. Nutlet c.1.2 × 0.6 mm, ellipsoid. |
