In cracks and on shallow soil patches on a quartzite sandstone rocky ledge Northern slopes below Mt Dombe, Chimanimani Mts 1680Mozambique1933C1 MS1395Very sticky grandular, aromatic, shrubby herb, up to 50 cm high; leaves greyish green; inflorescences terminal, branched; flowers white with purple spots on upper lip. Numerous specimens seen at collection site; common in the area but most specimens more depauperate than collected ones.7

Rocky slopesAbove Bundi Plain, Chimanimani330Zimbabwe1933C3 E1580Labiateous woody herb, 15 inches high. Leaves and young stems greyish, very sticky, with glandular hairs and heavily lemon-scented. Corolla almost white, slightly translucent.2
